History
.
The Ned Kelly Band have been making music for the past twelve years or so and to date have produced four albums - their lastest offering Angry Men.

Ned says, "I find it exciting and creative doing our own stuff, I love to write songs and give them to the band and listen to them evolve. I don’t think you can pigeon hole our music because we play a variety of styles from rock, blues and country rock. I find that our music has appeal to all age groups which is great."

"The Message of the Gospel has to be the focus of our music and to reach out to those who don't know Jesus Christ. It is also our aim to awaken Christians to the urgency that life is short and that Jesus Christ is coming back for the Chruch and it is our duty to be a light to the world. I know from talking to people that our music has an effect on them and this is the inspiration I need to write more songs. I need to stay focused and keep the messages in the songs simple so the man on the street can understand what we are singing about."

The Band have played all over Ireland and for the past three years have been invited to the south of France around the Nice area. French DJ and evangelist Daniel Corones and wife Isobel use the band to help spread the Gospel around their own home town.

Ned says, "I hope the Lord continues to use our music as a way to reaching people and helping them to find Jesus Christ as Saviour. We need to be faithful to the Lord and let the Holy Spirit convict people of sin and convince them of their need of the Saviour.

At times Ned plays solo at venues, getting back to basics with acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocal which he also enjoys.
